Datasheet questions, answered from the datasheet

Technical pre-sales is a search problem. The answer is on page 14 of a PDF and the person asking is a distributor with a customer on hold. An assistant that reads the whole library answers in a sentence and names the document.

The situation before

You publish two hundred datasheets and a compatibility table. Everyone who needs them emails your technical team instead, because finding the right PDF and then the right row inside it is harder than asking a person.

What to feed it
  • Datasheets and specification tables
  • Installation and maintenance manuals
  • Compatibility and cross-reference lists
  • Certifications and declarations of conformity

What it does

Reads the PDFs you already ship

Datasheets, manuals and specification tables go in as they are. Nothing has to be rewritten as web copy before it can be answered from.

Part numbers and compatibility

The answer names the reference and the document it came from, so a distributor can quote it to their own customer and check it in one click.

Pre-sales questions reach an engineer

A question the documents do not answer becomes a lead or a ClickUp task carrying the part number and the conversation, instead of an email nobody owns.

Questions people ask

Can it read our PDFs?

Yes, along with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HTML and Markdown. A datasheet is uploaded as it is; a catalogue published on your site can be crawled instead.

What about a spreadsheet of part numbers?

Upload it. Tables are extracted as text, so a compatibility matrix becomes answerable. A very large catalogue is better fed through the ingest API so it stays in step with your own system.

Can distributors have their own assistant?

Yes. A separate knowledge base and widget with its own allowed domains, so partner material never reaches the assistant on your public site.
