Send chatbot leads to monday CRM

An item on the board you pick, with the columns filled in

A lead from the chat becomes an item on the board you choose, with its columns filled in properly: an email column that holds an address, a status column that holds one of its own labels.

What it does

Columns, not text boxes

monday stores each column type differently. Email, phone, link, date and status each get the shape they are read back from, which is what makes the cell actually populated.

Status labels that exist

A label your board does not have is left out rather than created, so a typo cannot become a permanent column value.

Any board, any workspace

The picker lists the boards the token can see, grouped by workspace and ordered by what you have been using.

Questions people ask

Which boards will it see?

The ones its token's owner can see. A board shared with somebody else is not on the list.

Can it write to a sub-item?

No. It creates a top-level item, and a sub-item belongs to a parent that a lead does not have.

What about people columns?

They are left out of the mapper. A person column needs a monday user id, and a lead answer is a string.
